an old post from not so long ago in another place:

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

God having come as the Word He always was and is to those whom He made by His Word, those whom He had made did not know Him. For as Word, He says of Himself:

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Quite explicitly, God Says as Himself/Word, that He has made everything and that He made everything by Himself as Word and that God is Word and that He is Word.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

He has then a genuine expectation that those whom He made will know Him. For not only is He their Word, He is their light and life–their understanding as Word. Yet they did not and do not not know Him. Their perception of words and speech was and is: anything but Him. Their understanding of the rules of conversation and discourse were such that according to their rules of speech, it was impossible that any such thing exist as Word as the Person of God. In their mind, the words they had already had to be, in order for the world to make sense at all:

• the only speech possible: their own understanding of speech was the only understanding of speech
• anything other than God Himself
• anything other than a living being or spirit or living beings/spirits
• at the least: less powerful than men
• limited such as to enable men to get a grip on the whole to know how to intelligently use it
• unable to be used to genuinely create anything new out of nothing–else it would too dangerous to ‘use’ if it wasn’t completely understood and if certain combinations of words created something out of nothing unexpectedly that was a danger(men might accidently create their way our of power over words just by saying something..–and violate their own ‘free will’…) . So the assumption/witchcraft is that nothing is being or can be newly created by men with speech: all speech is recombination of repetition of limited ‘tool’ and creation by speech simply is not what words are for
• That all language possesses this essential quality: it is powerless enough to be useful–that language could not violate the supposed free will of man under any circumstance
  a ‘thing’ that men used to communicate with: a ‘tool’ that men used to show one another what was on the inside of each others mind and as such a ‘illuminating device’
• a ‘thing’ that had somehow winked into existence mysteriously but handily, or that they had themselves simply always possessed and assumed one of them had thought it (winked into some particular mind of man) long ago and passed it along to every one possessed of the same mind that was now illuminated by the same ‘illuminating device’/'handy tool’
• a ‘thing’ that possessed certain rules concerning its properties based on its own supposed limitations and powerlessness over men
• a ‘thing’/'tool’ with which all reality could be expressed once seen by the human mind
• the ‘thing’ that would describe their hearts and by which they would understand what was in the other human being’s heart: the ‘tool’ by which emotion would be understood and expressed
• an acid test of who and what it is to be human

• those who understand speech are human

• those who do not understand speech are not human as they deny what makes ‘us’ particulary unique: our minds and ability to ‘use’ speech as a ‘tool’
• God’s power was that He was simply the ultimate super-genius when it came to using the very same speech/’tool of understanding’ that men had as a tool

Yet in spite of their assurance to themselves of the essence and character of speech such that they had complete control over it, God says He is Word and has made everything AND that which He made doesn’t know Him as Word. So there is proved a wall of separation between God as Word and men. There is also proved another speech: men are speaking and busy not knowing God as Word with the speech they have. God plainly says they do not know Him:

John 1:9,10 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

and

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

How is it that God was and is a stranger as Word to all those whom He made and that they speak another speech than Himself and that in this speech which they have, thoughts have come and over time aggregated into an understanding of this other speech and other understanding itself that prohibits, within its own rules of power and illumination, the very existence of God as He truly is: as Word? Indeed, how is it, that in order to admit that God is His Word men must do away completely with all they know of speech–that for God to be His Word, the very speech they have must be invalidated in their eyes and never spoken again and yet men –say– the speech they have is the only speech such that within the rules of their own speech, men –say– both that they understand God AND that God is not a different Word than that which they control as a tool ‘if’ God is indeed ‘Word’?

Quite literally, where did the speech men speak come from and why is it that within it, a true understanding of God as He has specifically declared Himself to be is –said– by that other speech which is not-God and which by its own rules can’t be God, to be a lie? How is it that to understand God as He truly is, the only speech men know as possible must never be thought or spoken, else it denies God by its own rules of existence?

How is it the reader of this very truth, understands perfectly that the speech they once had is absolutely alien to any real understanding of God and that as God is understood as Word and God, the reader is themselves necessarily cut off from all other men in being cut off from the milk of inclusion of all men–speech–and that all other men will necessarily –say– that no such understanding is possible that negates their speech (in their minds– ALL/’the only’ speech)–and that in being cut off from the speech of men, they are necessarily cut off from the heart and mind of men and that as being cut off from the heart and mind of men, men MUST –say– that those-who-understand-God-IS-Word, that is, the reader, simply do not exist? Because if they –say– any such thing exists as those who understand God is Word and a different Word than they know and can control, the speech of men is invalidated and proved the alien of Truth and honest understanding even in their own eyes. Yet if the truth is plain and unable to be avoided, how is it that men REMAIN blind and insist on speaking and speaking and speaking…? And how is it that reader that understands these very truths knows full and well that men will kill them in order to stay blind and keep speaking and speaking and speaking…? I.E. Why MUST this other speech that is not-God be spoken at all?

God as Word that created everything (to include men) and men (who yet speak something not-God)do not know the Word that creates proves:

• men know nothing of the true character of God
• men know nothing of the true character of speech
• a fall/separation from God as Word
• the appearence of another speech that because of its present ‘logic of speech’/denial of God (its rules of reality in order for speech to exist at all and the purpose and limitations of speech) is the alien of God and cannot be God
• an antagonism between God and this other speech

  with God expecting men to be witness (for all of this is taking place directly in and in front of men)
  …and the other speech expecting men to be ignorant that anything other than itself exists as speech

• …and that within this other speech that is not-God men cannot be an honest witness

Genesis 3:1-8 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Why after hearing the speech of the serpent, and disobeying God as Word, did Adam and Eve hide from God as Word such that God as Word later comes to their progeny and says as Incarnate Word:

John 8:43-48 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

1 John 4:2-8 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Why did God speak at all as Himself, and men not know Him as Word, if men automatically possess intelligence of the essence of speech by merely knowing speech exists?

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
