Seeing the result of the more obvious beasts of the lie of free will ravaging the sheep of the ECUSA, those within it now look Elsewhere as they are to this hour to cowardly and lack Christ in them to cast out the wicked from among themselves, having been taught since youth that casting out any for any reason whatsoever “isn’t the love of God.” –which lie they will take with them to the next place they arrive –and then wish to have the honored positions of the new along with their old lies in a cup of mixed wine.

So: they turn to the old ways, the wicked paths of heresy grown so old and so covered with time and the evils of the world that it looks to be not a device but a natural mountain to the eyes that see only the world and things of it. It seems to be new raw material from which to build a better social life at Church, one less quarrelsome, less contentious, more ‘conservative’ and ‘family oriented.” Now they will do whatever They Say as long as it is Nice.

Satan wreaks one of his own devices in the eyes of those who at least have not been taken with his more heinous abominations, and just ‘happens’ by with an ambulance as the souls flee from the flames . He reaches out his hand and says “Need a lift? A warm cup of coffee perhaps? A blanket? There’s shelter just up the road a bit. Everybody is welcome. Choose. Oh –I hear They Say some of the same catch words you use “re-newing”, “fulfilling”, “peaceful”. You know, all the bells and whistles. There’s always room for more.”

There was a time when I would also nod my head in an understanding gesture when this kind of comment was made, so I expect many doubters when I now, in all honesty, after six months as an Eastern Rite priest, write what follows. I understand your concerns, but I can tell you that the Liturgies of St. John Chrysostom and St. Basil no longer seem complicated and long. They are now exciting and re-newing. Having made a choice between the modern Roman Rite, formal BCP worship, and the Byzantine Rite, I am now delighted and thankful to worship with the Fathers. Orthodoxy is right belief and right worship.

… my kids won’t be neurologists, or physicians of any kind. I have counseled them very strongly against entering medicine (they didn’t want it anyway). If they were to enter medicine, neurology would be the worst field that they could possibly enter. In about 10 years, I anticipate either leaving medicine entirely or changing to be either a full time sleep physician, a high school science teacher or an “urgent care” physician. As it is, the next 10 years will be spent engaged in “dialogue”, “listening” and “conversation” about when “hypothetically” (there has been a slight shift from “whether”) it would ever be ethical for a physician to deny care (including food and water) to her patients, and the central role and “ministry” of a neurologist in determining which patients have such low “quality of life” that any care would be “futile”. It is anticipated, in the brave new world of the future, that neurologists will become critical to medicine in determining whose lives are worth living. We already assist in the determination of brain death and “persistent vegetative state”, so we are the natural specialists for this role also. As the products of the post-war Baby Boom retire, this role will become critical to the fiscal stability of health care financing, and will contribute enormously to the “quality of life of society.” So say the shiny newsletters that come to my home, and many of my colleagues seem enthusiastic about the important new role that will one day likely be thrust upon neurologists everywhere.

Of course nobody would be “forced” to do anything they thought was wrong. But insurance would look askance at a neurologist who refused to “do the right thing” and who continued to provide “futile” care. Also, naturally, refusal to “do the right thing”, and assist in terminating those whose “quality of life” failed to meet societal norms, would be considered “abandonment”, “inappropriate intervention”, or “abuse” and would likely be met with other sanctions from medical boards and hospital ethics committees. That has been what has happened to other specialties during my career. I recall a time, early in medical school when obstetricians and gynecologists often refused to prescribe birth control pills, especially to unmarried women. This largely is no longer an option. Indeed, in New York Obstetrics/Gynecology residents are forced to learn how to perform abortions, regardless of their religious beliefs. In 1997, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists tried to make such training mandatory everywhere (though their requirements were softened by a handful of pro-life Obstetricians). As it was, changes in ACOG credentialing have made it difficult for pro-life resident training programs to remain accredited. These, together with Catholic hospital training programs, will slowly close over the next decade. However this probably will not change the United States much at this point in medical history. There are very few pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists in business nowadays anyway. Obstetricians figured out a long time ago, that if they began seeing a pregnant woman whose baby turned out to have Down’s syndrome, they would be forced to provide an abortion or be charged with abandonment of a patient if they refused.

When I began the practice of neurology, a quarter of a century ago, I often saw children with Down’s syndrome. Now, there are none. As the only neurologist who sees children in a 300 mile radius of a very rapidly growing metropolitan area, I’ve not seen a single case in 2 years. Genetic testing has ensured that virtually all Down’s children are aborted during pregnancy, despite the fact that many children with Down’s syndrome have normal intelligence. Pro-life obstetricians have largely disappeared from US medicine. With the exception of the handful of Obstetricians and Gynecologists physicians in the American Association of Pro Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, they are now in other walks of life. They left the practice a long time ago.

More recently pharmacists have been fired for refusing to fill prescriptions for birth control drugs or abortifacients. On one occasion, a pharmacist who refused to fill a University of Wisconsin student’s birth control pill prescription was not only fired, but was fined and ordered to take “ethics classes”. Although some Wisconsin lawmakers have been sympathetic to pharmacists forced to violate their religious beliefs, others feel that pharmacists have no right to personal conscience. Under the pressure of planned parenthood of Wisconsin, new legislation has been introduced, called “The Patient Protection Act”. This makes it even clearer that religious objections to pharmaceutical abortion will not be tolerated in Wisconsin, and (to use Planned Parenthood’s words”) “ensures that patients will not be abandoned by pharmacists seeking to elevate personal beliefs above patient care.”

The Romanist want more Romanists to control. So the ‘clergy’, those great protectors of the flock against Jesus Christ is of course against any limitation of immigration.

Law abiding citizens as honest immigrants? Nope.

Illegals are beloved above all others for the supposed aura of worldy moxy they bring to those who protect them (which is at least in the Catholic’s eyes, the equivalent and superior of genuine holiness in Christ –mere temerity to break the law continually as a matter of ‘free’ willed ‘principle’) because, at least in the mind of anti-Christ, the emotional mathematics of ’shielding’ illegals against law abiding citizens merely rebounds to the credit of those who obstruct justice as a supposed ‘model of Christ’ who loves the sinner before they are saved. Thus, they hope to get popular by being unpopular by doing what in their own eyes is merely unpopular and wrongly illegal. While the illegals pour into the country, shooting immigration officers and anyone else who gets in their way and bringing drugs with them to sell to those they can hopefully corrupt into being law breakers as well.

These ‘priests’ must be prosecuted for harboring law breakers, not given some wide latitude to do whatever they wish in the name of anti-Christ they call Christ. Doing what the Romanists wish has resulted in the sodomy rape of countless young children from among the law abiding citizens of the United States as well as worldwide while delaying as long as possible the prosecution and prolonging as indefinitely as possible the on-going abuses such priests perpetrate under the protection of ‘the Church’.

Note the article portrays the illegals not as law breakers, but as ‘immigrants’. I.E. If any from any country belligerently and publicly breaking the laws of the United States and ignoring such laws, are granted a special status by the Romanists that citizens are not and indeed harbored and protected by the Romanists.

Illegals are now put forth as ‘immigrants’ as if they are law abiding citizens and the equivalent of those who lawfully immigrate to the United States. In the same lie as always, the Romanist pretends the worse the sin in the midst of that sin and in complete non-repentance of that sin, the MORE protection ‘the Church’ must give to the worshippers of anti-Christ: illegals, rapist priests, sodomites, etc. I.E. Their Church is at all times a belligerent law breaker in favor of law breakers against law abiding citizens and the authority appointed by God as the government of the United States of America. In the guise of being ‘for’ God, they very plainly set themselves against Him and teach as best they may that such is ‘Christianity’.

A couple of years ago, Tucson Bishop Gerald Kicanas wandered into the church in Altar, Son., looking for the parish priest.

He was startled by what he found instead - 18 young men in worn sweatshirts and work pants, kneeling or sitting by themselves in the pews, heads bowed. The migrants were about to set out on foot across the desert toward Arizona.

“We think of young people as not at all religious, ” Kicanas said, “and here were young men, they were probably between 17 and 22, just fervent in prayer, putting their lives in the hands of God.”

And, as far he was concerned, in the hands of the Catholic Church.

In the five years Kicanas has been in Arizona, he has made the plight of immigrants his battle cry. And he’s hardly alone.

Catholic leaders here and across the Southwest are showing a growing willingness to weigh in on the side of immigrants in the acrimonious political debate over solving illegal immigration and securing the nation’s borders.

In New Mexico, for example, Archbishop Michael Sheehan recently attacked a U.S. House proposal to build 700 miles of fence along the U.S.-Mexico border, calling it “a very hostile act.”

Los Angeles Cardinal Roger M. Mahony said he would instruct his priests to defy a federal proposal to require churches to check the legal status of parishioners before helping them. The bishop of San Bernardino, Calif., who oversees a swath of metro L.A. and the desert around Palm Springs, reminded parishioners that immigrants have traditionally been welcomed in this country and asked for “solidarity” on the issue.

And here in Arizona, Kicanas and Phoenix Bishop Thomas Olmsted were so alarmed by the growing hostility toward illegal immigrants they wrote a pastoral letter to parishes throughout the state in December reminding Catholics that welcoming immigrants is part of what it means to be a good Catholic.

Supposedly, in their own minds, the true body of Christ is so blind to their lies as to be deceived holy men of God are harboring illegals, rapists and sodomites as a duty before God against any law that prosecutes them.

As usual, the only redress those of the Catholic community have is to turn outside their own ‘Church’ to a nation of which they are a legitimate part but built by God through Protestants as protection against their tormentors.

The Romanists have long counted on the mere pride of the fallen human heart to contain those enslaved to their lies for generations. “But if you reject us what will the Protestants say? They will triumph over you!” as if Truth were a human matter.

But over time, even a blind man sees the truth even if he cannot see what is physically taking place in front of his eyes. Those ‘Protestants’ who would merely engage in wicked rhetoric to lord over what they perceive to be those who are ‘less’ than themselves are just the same as non-Christians and it is very plain that the Protestants need their own Reformation now.

Matthew 13:9 He that has ears, let him hear.

True immigration is actual new birth in Jesus Christ into the Kingdom of Heaven and of God. Those who say to active, unrepentant sinners “Congratulations! You’re already here!” are liars who have their part in the lake of fire.

God tells the unconditionally elect they were wicked. They bend the knee and bow before God thankful He has saved them from the wickedness and genuinely birthed them again as new creation in Jesus Christ expressly by telling them of Himself and giving them Himself as Word and Spirit.

God tells Satan he is wicked. Satan responds “Oh. No. That’s not fair. There’s been some confusion. You don’t understand.” –and goes right on in his wickedness.

Pretty standard stuff from the anti-Christ’s of the PCUSA. Seems they think, in their deception of ‘free’ will of course, that liberals are fundamentally ‘more’ capable of thinking new thoughts and accepting new things than ‘conservatives.’ Supposedly, liberals are experts at ‘how’ to ‘use’ the ‘free’ will.

As if it existed at all.

That would explain their belligerence against Jesus Christ as accepting sodomy, abortion and all wickedness and consorting with Hezbollah AS the Church and turning their version of ‘church’ into an organ of anti-Christ that is pumping out lies as ‘love’ into the world with twice the zeal they ever had even for their false gospel of ‘free’ will.

What an amazing bit of word widgetry anti-Christ has wrought through this one man as an encapsulation of the liberal/anti-Christ mind: “I know better than you because I am not you. Becuase I am a liberal, I am by definition (that I teach to my students and hire others to do the same) more qualified to tell you ‘how’ you should use your ‘free’ will in every area/sub-field of life. I’m ‘hoping’ for your scholastic success and I will be the sole arbiter of deciding when and if it exists –or not — based on your reaction to what I say is Truth. My ‘free’ will is in fact a bit ‘free-er’ than yours. I am Teacher.”

Anti-Christ through him has the bald faced deceit to name his article “Leave politics Out of Faculty Hiring” as if there was none already even as he plainly has a bias (and is proud of it so as to have worked out an explanation he is plainly deceived is thorough and truthful) toward hiring liberals and teaching liberalism/anti-Christ even as he simultaneously denies it.

Leave Politics Out of Faculty Hiring Choices

To suggest that any individual or legislature would improve the world’s finest system of higher education by deliberately injecting politics into considerations of who should be hired to teach (and tenured) is folly. Smart men and women work all their lives to become competent in one of the hundreds of sub-fields into which higher education is now divided (e.g., bioinformatics, medieval French history, architecture). Political leanings have no place in recruiting faculty in any college or university known to me. Nor have I found, in my nearly 30 years as an administrator in four colleges and universities, public and private, evidence of classroom proselytizing or intimidation. Of course, faculty occasionally comment about presidents - Democratic and Republican - and about current events and popular culture, too, but only in passing, not to sway students to a particular point of view.

Now, I have no doubt that most colleges have more Democrats than Republicans on the faculty, and more liberals (if that means those who question the status quo) than conservatives (if that means those who would maintain the current order). Faculty members are generally more liberal than they are conservative - though not always by a long shot.

Why is this so? Because, faculty members - especially those in the humanities and social sciences - have the responsibility to help their students develop “critical thinking,” thinking that questions nearly everything and poses arguments for how the world does work and should work. Such teaching inevitably questions the status quo.

In addition, the teacher is committed by his or her profession to act as if each individual has the capacity for scholastic success. That kind of task, that commitment - hope, if you will - is often accompanied by an egalitarian approach to matters of civil polity. You see the same commitment among public health workers, for example, and among journalists and often lawyers.

So, what should we do? How can we keep our young from being brainwashed by liberal faculty?

In fact, this is an invented crisis, not a real one. No student, no parent, no alumnus at Eckerd College or anywhere else has ever complained to me that they were subjected to propaganda or political manipulation by biased professors. Most faculty are too independent, too diverse in their thinking, too focused on their disciplines and their responsibilities as teachers to indulge in tub-thumping in the classroom. They have too much respect (and hope) for their students to do so. Nor would today’s students have the patience for it.

I’m not sure what kind of music Donald R. Eastman the Third was listening to that would even for a moment make him think he was genuinely ’smarter’ than anyone who would read his lies such that, as a teacher, he would have the dream –hope, if you will– that each individual who read his lies has the capacity to be deceived, to supposedly use their ‘free’ will in such a manner as to gain for themselves scholastic success under his tutelage. His ignorance that there is no free will is the source of his blissful egalitarian approach to others. It is anti-Christ through him and he a mere mouthpiece for what he cannot articulate exists.

Thank God in the Name of Jesus Christ I and many others don’t have the free will to be deceived by anti-Christ through any, to include Donald R. Eastman the Third, who in past times has promoted the lie that higher education IS the ’search’ for truth rather the teaching of the truth.

The resistance in North Carolina to studying the Koran, which extends even into the state legislature, fundamentally misunderstands the original purpose of higher education in America.

The great institutions of higher education in early America, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown and many others, were created by Protestant denominations to educate young persons to be able to know the truth; many of them shared the motto, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The method for pursuing such an education was then, as it is now, the study of what Matthew Arnold called “the best that has been thought and said in the world.” At that time, “the best” was considered to be the study of the canonic texts of the Hebraic and Hellenic worlds.

As the audience for higher education broadened with the industrial revolution in the 19th century, so too did the curriculum, so that universities included preparation for specific professions – ministry, law, medicine, engineering – in addition to the constant core of the academy, the liberal arts.

Higher education in America is now divided into two distinct kinds of places: Those in which the search for truth, for an educated intellect and imagination, is primary; and those in which preparation for a particular career is primary. While there is much that is healthy about this dual-purpose system of higher education, the vast numerical superiority of the second kind of education, amplified as it so often is by the “beer and circus” entertainment apparatus of college football and basketball, threatens to obscure and overwhelm the original purpose of colleges in America. That purpose was not to develop accountants –as important as they are to contemporary business – but to teach values and value-laden thinking to students who would later become, among other things, accountants. That was the kind of education Thomas Jefferson had in mind when he said that democracy depends upon the education of the governed.

The search for truth is by definition characterized by openness to new and often threatening ideas, by admitting all comers to the debate, by respecting the freedom of speech of all contenders, and by making judgments on the basis of evidence. The curriculum for such an enterprise is arduous, and it can provoke fear in those insecure in their own ability to distinguish sense from nonsense in a complex world. An education built on such a curriculum, however, prepares its students not simply for a job but for a lifetime.

The one distinction of a liberal over a conservative, even if both are deceived that men have free will is that a liberal is always and forever ’searching’ for the truth even as the or she mis-quotes God and say that supposedly, whenever you find it, “the truth will set you free.” as supposedly being in solidarity with the fathers who were real Christians and who knew God as Truth and had no need to ’search’ for ‘it’ and God taught Himself through them as Truth. A conservative will at least teach as truth the truth he or she knows as God does it through them.

Donald R. Eastman the Third is a liberal’s liberal, a mouth piece of mouth piece’s of anti-Christ who genuinely seeks to teach lies in the guise of ’searching’ for truth as if that is ‘just what they used to do’ way back when. He has himself lied that ‘the method’ of even ‘searching’ for Truth is NOT to go to God but always elsewhere and see what men have said.

Stay away from the PCUSA and all its affiliates. Eastman, as the whole of the PCUSA are of those of whom God says:

2 Timothy 3:6-9 For of these are they who are getting into houses, and leading captive silly women, laden with sins, led by various lusts, always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now in the same manner in which Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, thus these also withstand the truth; men corrupted in mind, found worthless as regards the faith. But they shall not advance farther; for their folly shall be completely manifest to all, as that of those also became.

They are the ignorant who teach what they themselves do not know, hold forth their ignorance as piety and humility and yet are proud to be a supposed filter as priestcraft over all the rest.

1 Timothy 1:5-7 But the end of what is enjoined is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith; which things some having missed, have turned aside to vain discourse, desiring to be law-teachers, not understanding either what they say or concerning what they so strenuously affirm.
