It is a remnant of the lie of free will that Christians ask “can I” or “should I”..

i.e. a free willed being necessarily needs an ideal model of behavior to ‘attain’ or ‘avoid’ ..

New creatures in Jesus Christ wait for God because they have been given the grace to wait and not because they are smart or dumb, much less smart-er or dumb-er than those fallen in the lie of free will.

Waiting in all matters is of Christ as true grace. To think to jump in a ‘relationship’ in Christ yet in the emotional common sense of this fallen world at all, much less on the pretense that God is negligent toward us regarding something “everyone else” seems to be getting that may appear to be a form of evidence of maturity and that without constant proof of that maturity at our side, we will be taken as ..strange to those so deceived is an accusation against God that He is limited.

If you want a wife, ask God in Jesus Christ. If you want a husband ask God in Jesus Christ. He has given you those desires to draw you closer to Him; not to have you run off and “do” becuase you are afraid he won’t understand what you want.

God created all hearts and gives them as He sees fit. Beware.

God giving a man another heart and emotional common sense to go with it that resulted in his destruction and all those that followed him:

1Samuel 10:9 And it was so that when he turned his back to go away from Samuel, God gave him another heart; and all those signs came to pass that day.

God giving a beast a man’s heart and emotional common sense with which to destroy men:

Daniel 7:3,4 And four great beasts came up from the sea, different one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till its wings were plucked; and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon two feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

God giving a beast’s heart and emotional common sense to a man which resulted in that man loving to eat grass, sleep on the ground with no covering and grow fingernails like talons:

Daniel 4:16,17 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him. This sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the decision by the word of the holy ones: that the living may know that the Most High ruleth over the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

God casting Lucifer down and pronouncing a death sentence on him because Lucifer claimed to himself in his own thoughts to have the same heart as God:

Ezekiel 28:1-10 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a *god, I sit in the seat of God, in the heart of the seas, (and thou art a man, and not *God,) and thou settest thy heart as the heart of God: behold, thou art wiser than Daniel! nothing secret is obscure for thee; by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures; by thy great wisdom thou hast by thy traffic increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches. Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God, therefore behold, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall tarnish thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of those that are slain in the heart of the seas. Wilt thou then say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and not *God, in the hand of him that pierceth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it , saith the Lord Jehovah.
