Not the first to point this out but it needs to be constantly restated: “NGO”: That’s “non-governmental organizations”, a.k.a. cells, usually with the moniker of a “collection of experts” that have coalesced into a “Institute”, “Foundation”, ” Center”, “Community Outreach”, “Council” or “think tank”. Fabians. Or Fabian if you prefer. Or even Fabian. You will find with a small bit of research that quite a few members are on multiple boards of multiple “Institutes” and/or the spouse is on multiple boards as well or one Institute has a guest “Fellow” that is a member of another or several more Institutes: an inbreeding of socialist “ideas” at best that pays the bills for those who market that kind of “skill set”. They are those who make a living telling other people what they ought to be doing and doing specifically that denounces Jesus Christ outright or by subterfuge. They do it in many guises: “white papers”, “policy reviews”, “education initiatives” etc. The word “prestigious” is always floating around: it is the diplomatic/think tank equivalent of what “gourmet ” is to wannabe pro cooks and snooty consumers and makes those who give the donations think they are a breed apart.

The fabianist/soviet/communist outlook is camouflaged, in some cases, even to those perpetuating it. In their eyes, they are simply salesmen selling a product and making a living. The more they sell, the more money they make. The more money they make, the more socialists lying spirits spread as the merchandise. Esp. with regard to Islam, which is already communism masquerading as a religion, to go to Muslims with socialists ideas thinking to sell them some new product is to walk in to a trap set at least decades ago: they will accept what they already are and the American money to go with it to “make it happen”. In fact, the Muslims are to be found heavily seeded among them as so-called experts to help the “transition” supposedly to take place among the Muslim/communist populations when in reality the only real transition taking place is on the West through these NGO’s.

Take for example the CounterTerrorism Blog; a collection of experts on terrorism. Lot of people making a lot of money on that these days. Papers. Books. Speaking engagements. Blogs. Prestigious. You get the picture.

They have brought attention to the fact that after years of war, we, as a people, as part of our government, now have a toolkit to fight the war of ideas against our foes. Really

Engagement in the battle of ideas and strategic communication has long been the missing ingredient in the government-wide effort to combat terrorism. Now, with a restructured public diplomacy bureaucracy at the State Department and elsewhere in the interagency process, engaging foreign publics has formally and strategically become part of the toolkit to combat radical extremist ideologies.

I actually had to read that twice to make sure of what it was saying, “..restructured public diplomacy bureaucracy at the State Department and elsewhere in the interagency process..” and all. We now have a US version of Agitprop, complete with its own “ideology czar” who gets his ideas from non-Christians and haters of Jesus Christ and the whole thing is run out of the State Department after some “restructuring” of other departments as part of the “interagency process”.

1. Supposedly, no battle of ideas has been going on ( until they say it is going on ) and the war is going on the better part of decade already. NGO’s via Government to the rescue. We’re talking of free willers here, so to say “ideas” is to them to say and hear “will-neutral widgets of emotional manipulation” that supposedly actually exist as will neutral anythings to keep the lie of free will intact as they go.

2. Jesus Christ isn’t enough for them or anyone they can control via “ideology”. In fact, He gets in the way of diplomacy and is one of those “extremist ideologies” in that He is the SOLE Name under heaven by which men may be saved and Said as much through the Apostle Peter:

Act 4:8-12 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, Rulers of the people and elders of Israel , if we this day are called upon to answer as to the good deed done to the infirm man, how *he* has been healed, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean, whom *ye* have crucified, whom God has raised from among the dead, by *him* this man stands here before you sound in body . *He* is the stone which has been set at nought by you the builders, which is become the corner stone. And salvation is in none other, for neither is there another name under heaven which is given among men by which we must be saved.

That by definition means that all claims to be religions other than what Jesus Christ has Said are lies. He Said that as well:

John 10:7-16 Jesus therefore said again to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: if any one enter in by me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and shall find pasture. The thief comes not but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I am come that they might have life, and might have it abundantly I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep: but he who serves for wages, and who is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf seizes them and scatters the sheep. Now he who serves for wages flees because he serves for wages, and is not himself concerned about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know those that are mine, and am known of those that are mine, as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

Even the sheep “not of this fold” were to have ONLY Jesus Christ as their shepherd. That’s the “I must bring” and the “one flock, one shepherd” part.

During my confirmation hearings in January, I said that it seems I have been preparing my whole life for the job of undersecretary of state for public diplomacy. Even so, seven months ago, when I was nominated, I had not thought deeply or broadly about what would be my primary responsibility in the job: the war of ideas.

Translation: I’m a ruling class type who shuffles from job to job, lied to congress to get this one, and have to learn as I go what the heck the next job is that I have already been given to do. Now I find I had no idea what the war of ideas was or is.

I was sworn in on June 10, six months, almost to the day, from the date I was nominated. One of the advantages to such a long waiting period is that you can take time to get educated about the post you are going to take. And that is what I did. That education included much reading of the work that you do here at The Washington Institute, as well as discussions with those, here and elsewhere, who have thought long and hard about the issues I would face.

Probably more than any other individual, Rob Satloff has helped shape the views on the war of ideas that I presented, in a form of a Strategic Vision Statement, at my first interagency meeting on June 24 — the launch, or re-launch, of the Policy Coordinating Committee that had met only twice in the preceding 12 months.

The views that I will express today are my own, of course. I take full responsibility. But, on the war of ideas, I would not have arrived where I have arrived without the wisdom and insights expressed by Rob and his colleagues here at The Washington Institute. So let me begin with my thanks. It is no accident that I decided to give my first address in Washington as Under Secretary right here at The Washington Institute.

Translation; “My new ideas are my own. Thanks for giving them to me. Without what you say, I would be lost. Who is this Jesus Christ guy anyway?”

The under secretary for public diplomacy and public affairs has a big portfolio. One part of the portfolio is to be, in the words of Sen. Joseph Lieberman, who introduced me at my confirmation hearing, “the supreme allied commander in the war of ideas.” I will be concentrating on just that — the war of ideas — because I believe the war of ideas needs urgent attention.

Public diplomacy is diplomacy aimed at publics, as opposed to officials. Public diplomacy, like official diplomacy — and like kinetic actions, when they become necessary — has as its mission the achievement of the national interest. Public diplomacy performs this mission by understanding, informing, engaging, and influencing foreign publics. Ultimately, it is the last word, “influencing,” that counts most.

Our aim is to influence foreign publics to make it easier to achieve U.S. foreign policy goals — both short- and long-term. The key goals today are to diminish the threat to Americans and the rest of the world posed by violent extremism and weapons of mass destruction and to help people around the world achieve freedom

Note the Dipraxis of the speech: “influencing …to help people around the world to achieve freedom”. What freedom? Expressly that freedom that can “be achieved” via the “ideas” of the new propaganda ministry as part of the Federal Government of the United States of America expressly run in the background by privately funded NGO’s with their own agenda that is anti-Christian.

Who made up the position as part of the State Dept? From the article: “In April 2006, the president designated the under secretary of state for public diplomacy as the interagency lead in this effort.” George Bush.

And what does the “Ideological Czar” consider good examples of what he wants to accomplish? From the article: “During the Cold War, after a slow start, we became good at public diplomacy, with such institutions as the Congress of Cultural Freedom and Radio Free Europe.”

Congress of Cultural Freedom? A “cold war is over” propaganda tool.

The Congress itself sprang from a conference of intellectuals in West Berlin in June 1950, a gathering that itself marked a landmark in the Cold War. By a lucky stroke, the conference opened just a day after North Korea invaded the South. This coincidence lent unexpected timeliness and urgency to the conference’s message:

The US and Iran. How timely. How lucky.

Think NGO’s are trying to be do-gooders who work themselves out of a job because they succeeded? Think again:

From the school of “It’s our fault. We have failed to understand foreign people in general so you need my product to succeed” comes this jewel from the very same “The Washington Institute for Near East Policy”:

While there is an important role for the U.S. government to play in facilitating such an approach, the principal work of democracy promotion should occur at the nongovernmental level. The kind of work with civil and political groups that I have just described will need to be undertaken over the long term by people and organizations that can develop enduring relationships of trust and partnership with local actors, based upon shared political values.

Translation: We need more money to further our agenda and be left alone to pursue it no matter what it is as long as we “share political values” with our enemies.

Understand that the NGO’s that do “policy” now pulling the overt propaganda machine’s strings are privately funded conglomerates who for the most part are simply tools of those who hate Jesus Christ and constantly seek other shepherds as “ideas” to supposedly get to “peace” than Jesus Christ. Most in fact are outright socialist/communist and for the most part proudly say so. If their “ideas” don’t work or get people killed, hey, it was the “idea’s fault” –not theirs, even as they say they have free will and must take “responsibility for their actions”. And when that happens, they simply get paid again to “review” what went wrong with their own plan, paid again to write an updated version and the whole merry process goes round and round as Christians get killed and persecuted the world over by “complete accident”.

Wake up. All this is going on while pop preachers as lying prophets, as another arm of the same lies, make Christians toil in emotional busywork to not notice the rest. The Communist “revolution” was never about “freeing the masses’. If it was, millions of persons who had no power to begin with would not have been killed. They would only have killed the “elites’ as a fairly few individuals.
