Georgia and the work of Russian Border Patrol/FSB
The Russian Border is not under the command of a Border Patrol like other countries. In 2003 the FSB ( heir to the KGB headed by Putin ) took control of all activities of the “state border” and has absolute authority over the Border patrol of Russia and the ‘economic activity’ therein.
excerpted from FAS: Text of Statute on Federal Security Service of Russian Federation and Structure of Federal Security Service Agencies
4. The work of the Russian FSB will be based on the principles of legality, the centralized management of Federal Security Service agencies and the border troops (hereafter referred to as subsidiary agencies and troops), respect for human and civil rights and liberties and the observance of these rights and liberties, humanism, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and the inviolability of their borders, the peaceful resolution of border disputes, mutually beneficial cooperation with authorized agencies of foreign states, confidentiality, and a combination of overt and covert methods and means of operation.
5. To secure the performance of the assigned duties of subsidiary agencies and troops and to support their activity, the Russian FSB will follow the established procedure for the creation of structural subdivisions of the Russian FSB, territorial security agencies, security agencies in the troops, border agencies, other security agencies, subdivisions, and organizations needed for the performance of the duties assigned to the subsidiary agencies and troops by federal law, special training centers, aviation subdivisions, and subdivisions for special purposes.
As well, in 2006 , the “economic zone” on the border of Russia, was expanded to expand the sphere of ‘influence’ of the FSB:
excerpted from: Kommersant: Russia restores Soviet Borders
..The FSB received control over the border service in March 2003. It began preparations for the changes now being observed long ago. In 2004, under 2004 amendments to the law “On the State Border,” the right to establish and define the limits of border zones was transferred from Russian executive authorities to the FSB. Just before that, the clause that specified that border zones are not to exceed 5 km. was removed from article 16 of the same law. In the new edition of the same law, article 16 specifies that there are rules for “economic, industrial and other activities and the conduct of mass socio-political events” in the 5-km. border zone.
…
The first package of orders was signed on March 2 and expanded the border zones of 11 subjects of the federation in the south of Russia. Those subjects were the republics of Dagestan, Kalmykia, Ingushetia, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkesia and Chechnya as well as Krasnodar Territory and Astrakhan, Rostov and Volgograd Regions.
…
The border zones have practically been returned to the conditions of Soviet times. If the average depth of the border zone is assumed to be 15 km., 550,000 sq. km. of Russian territory have been turned over to the control of the FSB. .. The FSB can now limit the right of citizens to enter or travel in that territory and control any economic activity there.
South Ossetian’s having “Russian Passports” is no coincidence nor is it coincidence of the ‘leaked’ reports from ‘Georgians in South Ossetia’ of the supposed brutality of the Georgians against the Russian “peace-keeping force” ( and now overt spetsnaz ) nor the so called “genocide” reports against “pro-Moscow South Ossetians” being played up in the international leftist papers and Russian media in which the so-called “president of Abkhazia” and claims of de facto treaties between what Russia calls “breakaway Republics” from Georgia are presented as if fact and a supposed actual moral basis from which to proceed as the Russians wish. (Note the title to the video as part of the overall propaganda: “Abkhazian forces moving toward Georgian border” as if Abkhazia were not IN Georgia. In the video we see a few people in camouflage smoking cigarettes, a dozen soldiers walking in a line, some civilians trying to figure out how to work some ancient military equipment and a lone individual as ‘the president’ speaking as if to portray a vast organized movement of the whole “will of the people” crap of standard Soviet propaganda fame ..and at the end a “fair and balanced” opposition statement by a president of a real country named Georgia to carry the whole thing off as progressive reportage for a communist state. If I had the same equipment and resources to tell the truth with that they lie with..)
If the simple claim of paperwork is to be the arbiter of citizenship and legal status in ‘international courts’, no matter who wants what, then those independent states of Europe are no longer independent that accept and use Euros and any brutality against them for not wanting to be part of the EU is automatically justified as a legal precedent ‘in international law’. (be aware the EU has had its own intelligence arm since around 1995, that was just coming into the open in 2002. )
You condemn Georgia you condemn yourself.
Russia is not and has never been the capitalistic based ‘open country’ those of the western newspapers seek to portray in an effort to back up the western intelligence agency lie that ‘the cold war is over’. Indeed, the ‘reforms’ that have placed more and more power into the hands of the FSB/old-KGB are plain signs of digression into worse communism than before with only the caveat of using the Russian Orthodox Church as a friendly face for the whole campaign. Even now though, it is a frequent occurrence for missionaries sent to Russia having to agree in advance that they do not speak that the notion of man’s free will is a lie. Calvinism is anathema to totalitarian regimes: none can be enslaved until they are deceived they have free will.

The Russians first gave the North Koreans nukes. Pakistan got Russian help. Iran is now getting Russian help. Russian thugs roam American streets as a literal mafia unto themselves gathering intel the whole time. The Russians actively use what they call ‘the diaspora’ of the Russian Orthodox Church’ as an intel hub. Russians are assassinating people in the West. The lie that ‘the cold war is over’ is simply the truth that the West went to sleep while Russia kept fighting and manipulating.
So you went to sleep and ‘at least 80%’ of South Ossetians have Russian passports, complete with Russian ‘peacekeeping forces’ as part of their daily life for at least five years. Okay. That means nothing to Georgian sovereignty over those provinces despite the pretense of Russia at ‘protecting Russian citizens’/Russian passport-holders. The fact the South Ossetians have Russian passports simply means there was an covert attack going on against Georgia’s sovereignty long before now.
To put that in perspective: Mexico has tried, but Arizona and New Mexico don’t want to be part of Mexico and if Mexico invades to make it so ( which it essentially has..) that’s a war of Mexico against the United States, not US ‘aggression’ against ‘Mexican citizens in the United States’ and does not justify ‘Mexican protection of all its citizens’.
..even though ..’the president’ of South Ossetia as a puppet of the FSB’s “peacekeeping force” would plant stories in places ( look toward bottom of page ) and call Georgia’s Security Services “terrorists” to play on a word with Western dullards as part of the overall psy-op.

Proverbs 24:10-12 If thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small. Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter. If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Am I now come up without Jehovah against this place to destroy it? Jehovah said to me, Go up against this land and destroy it. 2 Kings 18:25
Anti-Christ tried the lie that God had sent him to conqueor Jerusalem through the Assyrians. But God says to the worshipers of demons who hate Jesus Christ and Israel: "But I know thine abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, And thy raging against me." 2 Kings 19:27
Why don’t you try to see things more widely. I mean, where did this mere decade of an absence of a second “player” on the chessboard get us? Don’t you see that beyond this puny perspective of some local conflict? Yes, human tragedies and suffering and all this stuff… Do you really think that those mighty butchers do give a shit about human rights and ‘democracy ideals’ or ‘civiization heritage’ when they invade oil-fields? Give us a break!
And keep Jesus Christ to youself, cause that’s how it’s meant to be - that is if you really think you are so much better than the fundamentalists on the othes side…
